The jewellery, designed by Nicolai Appel, celebrates diversity, friendship, family, lineage - ultimately humanity.
The pendant is quite simple. It is studded with tiny silver rings, each one different. Everyone with a small heart.
The design language is universal. In this way, PanikPanik wants to emphasise the importance of friendship for people all over the world.
When the rings hang next to each other like little crooked pearls, it is precisely in the differences that the beauty is experienced. It is the same with people.
You can add more beads to the pendant as you make new friends. You can easily make your own beads/pearls in other materials and share them with your friends or swap them. Many people will have a favourite because it symbolises a special person.
The special "Tamattaasa" bead has the name of the organisation on it - “Tamattaasa - with handmade letters. You can buy this bead together with the necklace with the nine beads here on our web-shop. This pendant is delivered in a bag of organic cotton fabric printed with the organisation's logo, in af jewellery box.
PanikPanik does not sell the Tamattaasa bead separately.
Tamattaasa does. The organisation's website is: www.tamattaasa.gl
With this piece of jewellery, we hope to contribute to the anti-bullying work in Greenland.
PanikPanik contributes a fixed amount per sold pendant to the organisation "Tamattaasa" - "Let us unite". The size of the contribution depends on whether you buy the special Tamattaasa bead/pearl too.
The contribution is DKK 600 if the purchase is made from Greenland and countries outside the EU. If the sale is made in Denmark and other EU countries, the contribution is DKK 400. The difference is due to VAT.
During 2023, the anti-bullying jewellery will also be made as a bracelet.
We will publish quarterly on our website how much we have contributed to the organisation's work.
