The polar bear is crouching and rounding its body to protect itself and its cubs from the snowstorms of the Arctic. A brooch is an important part of the western Greenlandic national suit neck part (called “qungasequt”). Buuti’s brooch can be used for the national suits, for festivities and for everyday life.
