The TUUKKAT ring is created in black rhodium plated sterling silver with greenlandic ruby.
The ring is available in two sizes and can be worn on either the inner joint or the outer joint of the finger.
Rings are available in size SMALL corresponding to ring sizes between 46 to 50 or the ring size LARGE corresponding to ring sizes between 52 to 56.
The rings are open at the back and can therefore be further adjusted in size.
The tuukkat pattern is the amulet for a successful hunt and was worn by women in order for the man to hit his target. The amulet was worn for the common welfare of the settlement and not for the woman as an individual.
The tuukkat pattern was tattooed on the hands, arms, thighs and shoulders of Canada and Greenland.
