The IVALUIT ring is created in silver and black rhodium plated sterling silver with greenlandic ruby.
The ring is available in two sizes and can be worn on either the inner joint or the outer joint of the finger.
Rings are available in size SMALL corresponding to ring sizes between 46 to 50 or the ring size LARGE corresponding to ring sizes between 52 to 56.
The rings are open at the back and can therefore be further adjusted in size.
Ivaluit was the most common pattern in inuit tattoos in Canada and Greenland. The pattern was tattooed on fingers, arms and thighs.
The ivaluit pattern is the sewing amulet and symbolizes the thread that held the clothes, tents, kayak and wife boat sealed.
Ivaloq was a thread made of tendon from animals and the ivaluit therefore possesses the power and strength of the animal.
